About Wunderfold

Hi, I’m Brian. I built Wunderfold with one goal: to make book folding easier, more creative, and more fun for everyone.

When I first discovered book folding, I wanted to create my own patterns, but the available tools made it harder than it needed to be. They were hard to get, hard to use, and the patterns often required hours of editing just to become usable.

What I wanted didn’t seem to exist yet: a tool that worked on any device, with any image, and produced a clean pattern without hours of manual fixing. So I spent the next six weeks building and launching Wunderfold.

Wunderfold isn’t a giant company project. It’s an indie tool built by one real person who cares about how your book art turns out. I read your emails, answer your questions, and pay attention to your feedback. Many of the best features, such as the 3D preview, came directly from conversations with folders just like you.

Along the way a real community formed around it. The Wunderfold Facebook group has grown to more than 6,000 folders sharing photos, tips, and encouragement. Seeing what people create with Wunderfold is still my favorite part of the whole project.

The goal has always been simple: I put my time into making Wunderfold the best book folding software out there, so you can spend your time folding, not fighting software, and turn an idea into something you’re proud to put on a shelf, or give as a gift.

When I’m not working on Wunderfold, you’ll probably find me outside — rock climbing, hiking, biking, and exploring the Utah mountains with my dog. I love making things, learning new skills, and chasing slightly impractical ideas that might turn into something wonderful.

If you ever get stuck, have an idea, or just want to show what you made, you can reach me directly - reach out to @Wunderfold on social media, or (my name) at wunderfold dot art. I’d love to hear from you.
