Resizing Large Images
Wunderfold has a 5 megabyte size limit for images that you upload for patterns. If you try to upload a pattern and get an error saying that the image is too large, you’ll need to make the image file smaller, by either resizing it, or saving it in a different format.
Resizing
If you have uploaded a large photo, you’ll probably want to resize it to a smaller size. Don’t worry, it won’t affect the quality of your pattern, as long as you don’t resize it too small. Around 800-1000 pixels high should be plenty for most images.
Changing the file format
Some file types are larger than others, and this can depend on what your image is like. For example, JPG is a much better format for photos than PNG, but if you have removed a background from a photo, it might have been saved as a PNG. Re-saving your image as a JPG with a white background will make your image file size much smaller.
